1616 Latimer Fund is a 501(c)3 organization qualified to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions for major capital projects at the historically designated 1616 Latimer Street property, clubhouse for the Cosmopolitan Club of Philadelphia. To date 1616 Latimer Fund has raised over $1.5 million to support projects as requested by the Club. These have included the installation of the Vertical Lift, updating the Club lobby area, preservation of the Club’s front façade, automating the front door and building the ramp to improve accessibility at our main entrance. We are enormously grateful to our volunteers and all the generous supporters who made this possible. There are future projects from the Club’s 2021 Master Plan for which we will need your support. Maintaining, preserving and improving 1616 Latimer Street is a benefit to all who attend Club programs or value historic preservation. It is a shared responsibility of all Cosmopolitan Club members. Tax deductible gifts to the Fund offset the need to totally fund capital projects from member assessments and fees.
